The formally plain appearance and the functional purpose of the technological installation that characterize the appearance of this architectural structure are reflected by the choice of materials used for cladding the interior walls and floors. The modular elements in black porcelain stoneware that cover the horizontal and vertical planes of the building design the space as a complex and articulated whole, while dialoguing harmoniously with the other materials used. Sober and elegant, the ceramic facing clads the walls and floors of the various different levels through to the well of light created by the glass façade where the display area has been positioned.

Laureato presso la scuola di architettura di Saint Luc a Tornai (Belgio) nel 1968, dove ha avuto come professori, fra gli altri, Jean Willerval e Jean Dubuisson, ha creato un proprio studio nel 1980. Ha vinto numerosi concorsi, tra i quali quello per la nuova facoltà di legge a Lille-Moulins e nel 2005 del Centro di Formazione del LOSC - Luchin. Attualmente sta realizzando il centro di valorizzazione organica di Sequedin, il Liceo dei Mestieri a Dunkerque, la scuola media Léo Lagrange a Noeux les Mines e il Villaggio del “Val Joly” nel Val Joly.
