The project interprets the ceramic material as an identification code for the location, which is turned into some sort of recursive graphic and decorative element, used both horizontally and vertically. Porcelain stoneware modules are installed with sophisticated colour combinations and provide a vital contribution to define environmental quality in the transit and distribution public areas. The original solution implemented to lock the stairs, with a ceramic carpet climbing from the floor plane to cover the wall crossing the central volume with all its height, contributes to a lighter perception of the service space, which receives a stronger character and becomes more pleasant.
