Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware: a versatile material

Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware tiles draw inspiration from rare and precious stone, marble, granite, and wood, recreating their veining and colours. They are available in a wide range of colours, textures, sizes, surfaces, and thicknesses and allow for eye-catching aesthetic and functional combination for any use. Casalgrande Padana building envelope technologies with façade cladding and ventilated walls tiles allow for the use of ceramic materials with superior functional characteristics, thereby improving the thermal and hygrometric performance of clad walls and protecting them against weather agents. The company’s raised flooring systems promote a rational and flexible use of space. The large-size porcelain stoneware tiles stand out for their reduced thickness, whereas the perfectly squared and rectified monolithic ones with a 20 mm thickness are perfect for outdoor flooring. Then there are the self-laying floor tiles for interiors. Casalgrande Padana is also famous for its collections of tiles for private swimming pools, large indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, spas, and water parks. The company also provides solutions to improve functional performance of architectural surfaces and combat the effects of pollution (bioactive ceramics) and solutions for safety flooring and the removal of architectural barriers (Tactile), extending their application to any field of use, including public works, shopping and business centres, cladding, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, raised floors and floating floors, and even outdoor flooring, in sectors ranging from the wellness to the nautical industry.

What’s new in 2020

Marmoker: the precious colour effects of marble combined with the performance of porcelain stoneware

Marmoker is the Casalgrande Padana collection of porcelain stoneware tiles that brings nature’s charm and uniqueness to human-made settings, recreating the image of natural marble and stones associated with the excellent performance of ceramic. The collection has now been enriched with new textures. The timeless charm of Calacatta Extra, Titan White, and Canova, with the same classic veining on a white background that ignited the creativity of Tuscan master sculptors; the delicate shades of White Musk, Fior di Pesco, and Oyster Grey; the brighter tones of Caribbean Green, Brown Forest, and Night Storm; the contrasts between Orange Black and Rosso Francia, the darker shades of Ossidiana.

Macro: when nature becomes a décor

Macro is the new granite-effect porcelain stoneware tile collection that gives a contemporary twist to marble-grit and seminato floorings, in which the random repetition of irregular elements creates the effect of a natural carpet. With Macro, it’s the material itself that takes centre stage to become a décor. An image resulting from the combination of stones and pebbles, irregular pieces of a dynamic puzzle that adds an elegant touch to the room.

Limpha: we have taken nature’s beauty and put it in a ceramic tile

Limpha is Casalgrande Padana’s new porcelain stoneware tile collection that draws inspiration from climbing plants to transform wall coverings into elements of natural beauty. And now, the collection has been enriched with the new Coral Rose texture, available in the large 120x240 cm format with a 6.5 mm thickness and natural finish.

Limpha Coral Rose

Its wide scope of application and exclusive technical features (frost-, abrasion-, and wear-resistance, light fastness, and flexural strength) make the porcelain stoneware of the Limpha collection suitable for interiors and exteriors, new buildings and restorations alike. From private residential settings to public buildings, from the redevelopment of offices, schools, and gyms to the improvement of anonymous and obsolete volumes, the Limpha collection adds personality, improves performance, and eliminates maintenance costs.

In the presence of sunlight, the Bios Self Cleaning® technology allows the large porcelain stoneware tiles of the Limpha collection to reduce air pollutants and decompose dirt deposits, which are washed away from the tiles’ surface by rainwater, thanks to the superhydrophilicity of the ceramic surface.
