Planks Beige 8" x 94", Planks Bianco 12" x 94"

Modern and dynamic, the new Planks collection is available in five different colours, including lighter options such as Bianco and Beige and darker shapes like Muschio, Bruno and Grigio. The planks come in four different sizes, with a sleek thickness of 6.5 mm.

If you have a lot of space in your home, opt for darker shades such as Bruno or Muschio to create a stunning contrast with walls painted in lighter colours like beige or cream.

If you have a smaller space, such as an apartment, our advice is to choose a lighter colour, such as Bianco or Beige, and pair this with furnishings in equally light shades. Alternatively, you could let your creative side run wild by using mirrors and lights to emphasise the beauty and uniqueness of the flooring.

Planks: perfect for all tastes

The warm colours and soft texture of Planks strike a harmonious balance with both classic and contemporary spaces and work well with any style of furniture, creating a sophisticated, contemporaryaesthetic that brings elegance to your home.

Our homes are a reflection of ourselves: they are our nests, where we feel free to just be - so we just make sure every detail is perfect! Your personal touch is essential in improving your living space and achieving inner peace.

The Planks wood-effect porcelain stoneware collection can be laid in a variety of ways, based on the chosen furnishing style and personal taste. You can opt for an interlocking system with planks of various dimensions, or - for more exotic styles - choose to use lots of different colours in the same space.

Beauty and resistance

Of all our flooring and covering products, our wood-effect porcelain stoneware products are one among the most successful because they combine the aesthetic characteristics of wood planks (knots, marks and warm colouration) with the technical attributes and strength typical of porcelain stoneware.

Porcelain stoneware can be defined as a compact, non-porous, coloured ceramic product. It is obtained by pressing a mixture of lean clay with a low resistance to fire and feldspar, which is then fired at a very high temperature (1200-1400 °C) until it becomes non-porous and impermeable, which are the properties that make the finished tiles completely waterproof, with elevated mechanical characteristics.

The term stoneware comes from the French word gres, which indicates that the ceramic mixture that makes up the tile is extremely compact, resulting in exceptional strength.

Meanwhile, the word porcelain underlines the sophisticated elegance of the tiles and derives from the use of kaolin, a white clay that is also used to produce porcelain.

Casalgrande Padana’s porcelain stoneware has a host of impressive properties, in that it’s resistant toimpacts and abrasions and impermeable, while itsBios Antibacterialtechnology means no mould or bacteria can form on the surface. It’s also hygienic, easy to lay and clean and doesn’t require maintenance, as well as being resistant to stains and chemical agents. It’s a safe, environmentallyfriendly materials, can be recycled, is fire resistant and - in the event of a fire - doesn’t give off any substances that are harmful to human beings or the environment.

We innovate with sensitivity and respect. Knowledge and technology alone are not enough.

A big believer in balanced growth, Casalgrande Padana has created a production cycle in which every phase of the manufacturing process is characterised by the pursuit of excellence, with industrial facilities and environmental and energy policies all sharing a strong focus on sustainability.

We have a closed-cycle production process, where all manufacturing waste products - including waste water - are treated and reused.

We use special equipment to recycle and reuse all the various components involved. Emissions created as a result of the production process are purified by abatement systems that use the best technology to ensure we comfortably adhere to legal limits. The Casalgrande Padana environmental policy also incorporates green procurement criteria, designed to promote the selection of sustainable suppliers and reduce the environmental impact of activities and products.
