A new Creative Centre for Casalgrande…

The Creative Centre doubles up, with the Creative Centre 2 joining the existing facility in the Casalgrande headquarters, allowing for a significant expansion of the showroom, ready to host the implementation of the range of ceramic solutions developed by the company. These facilities are essential for effectively showcasing the unique quality and variety of the range, and for engaging in dialogue focused on projects.

The result is a new space of about 500 sq.m, where visitors can walk through perfectly recreated settings and appreciate the Casalgrande Padana collections. For example, the largeMarmoker tiles that cover entire walls and kitchen islands or the new Macro collection, which gives a contemporary twist to the continuous surface of Venetian seminato, extending it from floors to walls.

The Creative Centres are open to professionals in the sector, and have been devised by Casalgrande Padana to move beyond the traditional concept of a sales showroom. They are conceived as a meeting point between ceramics and projects, combining exhibition space with communication, technical information and an intense, organised series of activities featuring important international names in the field of architecture and design.

The success of this formula is demonstrated by the fact that in just a few years, the first Creative Centre, built next to the Casalgrande manufacturing hub on a project by Cerri Associati Engineering, has been joined by the Creative Centre in Milan, in Foro Buonaparte, which has become a point of reference for the architectural community, both in Milan and beyond.

Continuing down this road, and with a view to satisfying the growing demand throughout Italy, Casalgrande Padana decided to open a third Creative Centre, in Rome, inaugurated on 24 May. The location chosen is particularly significant, and offers the chance to give the community of designers access to an important building: Casa Baldi, designed by the renowned architect Paolo Portoghesi and built between 1959 and 1961.

The Creative Centres are a place and a means to evoke the fruit of creative thought, to illustrate the variety of stories behind the ceramic collections Casalgrande Padana has created over the years. This is a sector where there appears to be nothing new to invent; yet every time, from our enthusiasm and our ability to look beyond the horizon springs something new, something able to put an astounded smile on our faces.
