Casalgrande Padana has always endeavoured to engage in an on-going dialogue with architects and designers from all over the world, in order to understand their specific requirements and offer products and tools able to meet them. This is why the company makes the models of its products available in BIM format, to provide support also during the construction and creation process.
So from today, you can find the digital copies of a selection of Casalgrande products, known as BIM objects, on the world’s leading specific platform in the sector. This will make it easier for architects, engineers and designers to explore, download and use Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware tiles in their models, from the Concept phase to the Facility Management phase, making the design process functional, rapid and effective.
Casalgrande Padana products are available free of charge in four languages (Italian, English, French and German) for Revit, ArchiCAD software and in IFC format.
What is a BIM object?
A BIM (Building Information Modeling) object is a 3D digital representation of a physical object, complete with all its distinctive characteristics, from geometry to energy values and certifications. This allows architects, engineers and designers to download the objects and quickly and easily use them in their own projects. Smarter digital projects and constructions lead to a better selection of projects, a reduction in waste, more efficient logistics during the construction process and a new approach to managing the information relating to the entire life cycle of buildings.
