Casalgrande Padana sarà presente a GaLaBau 2022

Casalgrande Padana will be at GaLaBau, the leading international trade fair for the design, construction and maintenance of urban, open and green spaces, from 14 to 17 September. This year’s theme is “Working together for a climate-friendly future”. GaLaBau 2022 will showcase trends, products, and innovations that help mitigate climate change.

For outdoor spaces, Casalgrande Padana suggests Extragres 2.0. This range includes the stone-, wood- and concrete-effect colours of the Amazzonia, Chalon, Country Wood, Manhattan, Pietra Baugè, Pietre di Sardegna, and Kerblock collections. And now, it’s been expanded with the new Le Ville, Nature, Metropolis, and Petra collections.

These perfectly squared and rectified porcelain stoneware tiles by Casalgrande Padana are 20 mm thick and feature an antislip finish. They are versatile, sturdy, and functional, perfect for public and residential outdoor spaces, such as terraces, turf and gravel walkways, and even beaches.

Extragres 2.0 tiles can be laid on screed with adhesive, ensuring high load resistance, or dry-laid on sand, gravel, or turf. In this case, they can be walked on immediately without needing screed, mortar, or adhesive. Moreover, these tiles’ 20 mm thickness allows for creating raised floors using fixed and height-adjustable polypropylene pedestals. Outdoor raised floors are easy to remove and inspect. They also allow you to hide the electrical and plumbing systems underneath them.

The fixed pedestals can be 14 mm, 25 mm or 35 mm tall. Therefore, they are ideal in all situations requiring removable and easily inspectable flooring. The adjustable pedestals come in various heights, ranging from 35 to 100 mm, and are perfect in the event of uneven substrates.

Casalgrande Padana’s outdoor porcelain stoneware tiles are resistant to frost, chemicals, stains, wear, and abrasion. Moreover, they ensure light fastness and excellent mechanical and load resistance. They are also antibacterial (thanks to the Bios Antibacterial® technology available upon request), non-absorbent, and fire-resistant.

But there’s more. These tiles resist any stress and remain unchanged under any weather condition. They resist moisture, seawater, mould, and moss. They are easy to clean, easy to lay, and can be removed and inspected quickly, even after the floor is finished.
