Jean-Luc Roussel - Atelier 3A(Swimming Pool, Leffrinckoucke (F))

The volumetric complexity highlighted by the external colours of the building is reproduced inside with a very precise arrangement of colours and volumes. The project plays with colours in an orderly and clear way, by defining overall environmental quality expressed in all spaces of the facility: from the swimming pool and locker rooms to the entrance hall and restrooms. A leading role is played on all surfaces by ceramic tiles shaping the space according to accurate modular installation schemes, alternating different but mutually consistent solutions. The implementation of technical and functional details is very accurate.
