JUSTIN QUINLAN - THE QUINLAN GROUP(Piccoli Residence, Griffith (AUS))

The project proposes a modern and sophisticated interpretation of ceramic material, which in this village residence is used as a compositional and functional element providing consistence and architectural unity. The porcelain stoneware floor slabs are conceived as a seamless horizontal platform connecting indoor and outdoor spaces; outside, they connect the various halls contouring the central space dominated by a swimming pool. The colour study and selection of surface decorations are conceived to blend harmoniously with the other materials and the landscape.
