The renovation of the interiors posed the most complex design challenge, since the functional layout required clear decisions to be made about which elements to maintain and which required improvement, with a view to optimising the space to meet the needs of the users. The owners of the home entrusted this ambitious task to Anna and Krzysztof Paszkowski-Thurow.
The briefing for the House KD project clearly expressed the need to bring a timeless character to the interiors, by redefining a number of functions that over the years had ceased to meet the clients’ expectations. The architects achieved the project objectives with the idea of creating a wooden cube as the focal point of the home, hosting the walk-in wardrobe at the entrance and the pantry accessible from the side with the kitchen and the living area.
For the wall coverings, the porcelain stoneware tiles chosen are from the Pietre di Sardegna collection, in the colour Punta Molara, which, together with the careful attention to detail, help shape an ambience with a minimalist yet warm style.
