The aim of the project was to create a pool that would blend smoothly into the steep slope of the surrounding landscape. The construction of a pool was a priority for the agritourism, allowing the facility to offer a superior standard of hospitality for tourists. The pool is located within the area belonging to Podere Necione, on a strip of sloping land between the row of trees alongside the road to the north and the olive grove to the south.
With a depth of 1.25 metres, a width of 3.60 metres and a total length of 27 metres, including the steps leading into it, all the surfaces of the pool in contact with water (the interior, overflow and drainage channel) were tiled using the Amazzonia porcelain stoneware collection, in the colour Dragon Black, which recalls the surrounding countryside.
